Capescapes was founded in 2019 by Joao Paulo, a Cape Verdean adventure enthusiast with a deep passion for exploring Cape Verde's rich culture, lifestyle, and natural wonders.
Motivated by a desire to offer travelers an authentic experience of Cape Verde, he became disheartened by the stories of tourists who visited the islands and chose all-inclusive resort vacations, missing out on the opportunity to immerse themselves in the true essence of Cape Verdean life.
In 2022, Capescapes joined forces with Novatour, and in 2023, we founded Krioula Experience.

ADECO - Consumer Defence Associotion. is the only consumer organisation active in the Republic of Cape Verde Islands. ADECO was founded in 1998 as a local consumer organisation and became a national consumer organisation in 2004. Today, it has more than 1,700 members.
After numerous tests conducted, ADECO has decided to confer the "Zero Burla" certification to the company Capescapes.
Becoming a "No Scams" company means passing many tests that our team of experts conducts on various fronts.
